Paul Schaus is the Managing Partner and Founder of CCG Catalyst. CCG Catalyst is a leading Bank, Credit Union and Fintech management consulting firm. Paul is also the Founder and Managing Partner of the Bankers Fintech Council in conjunction with Arizona Bankers Association.

Paul Schaus has extensive experience in the banking world. This includes being a banker, management consultant and strategist for over 30 years. With 15 years focused on consulting, and more than 20 years serving in executive management positions, Paul is renowned for his bank consulting expertise.
With Paul Schaus leading CCG Catalyst, the firm has advised hundreds of clients and led major engagements globally including strategy –business planning, core modernization, payments, digital experience, de novo banking, merger / acquisition, bank products & services, board and management development, tactical performance, business process and profitability improvement and technology utilization.

Bankers Fintech Council
Paul Schaus has taken his interest and knowledge of Fintech a step further, by creating the Bankers Fintech Council, a partnership with CCG Catalyst and Arizona Bankers Association. This innovative council provides unique opportunity for FinTech, BankTech and Banks to work together under one umbrella. The Council generates new opportunities technology companies to connect with Banks. Participants include diverse institutions with community, regional, super-regional and money center banks. Other Bankers Fintech Council stakeholders come from the US Department of Commerce, International Trade Delegations, various State Governments, and academia arenas such as Arizona State University.

- Created a virtual bank (digital channel) strategy in a profitable manner and in a way that supported the bank’s strategic objectives and leveraged the Bank’s brand in a domestic market
- Led an extensive process evaluation and re-engineering effort focused on Loan and Deposit Operations that resulted in a best practice-based approach which resulted in significant savings
- Managed the strategic initiative for a global bank to implement a high-performance culture to match its objective to be a high-performance bank
- Started and managed multiple de novo banks and successfully built them to a level where they were acquired by a multi-state regional bank. Both transactions brough value to existing shareholders.
